Just unbelievable...on a cool evening in the quiet Florida Keys, Atlantis awaits the members of Club Duck Key....the most beautiful party event in the history of this social club located on the islands of Duck Key, Florida. Everyone had a chance to mingle with friends in an enchanted atmosphere of King Neptune, mermaids, real swimming fish, colors of the ocean - each table was different from the other's, flowing waterfall lights, and soft music in the background. The members were up out of their chairs, meeting and enjoying conversations with other member's out of town guests, welcoming back members that journeyed to the northern cold country, and I believe everyone had big smiles on their faces and joy in their hearts.
Atlantis, this wonderful evening's event, was the creation of Becky Townsend with help from Susie Shebel, Stephanie Ingram, Jo Ann Orr, Pam Nada-Caley and special thank-you's for behind the scene, Becky's mother, Miss Geneva, and Becky's friend and neighbor Billie Kline, and of course, Brenda and Doyle.
