Welcome Back Party 2010

The Welcome Back Party at Club Duck Key was great. The evening's weather was perfect. Chilly up north, but short sleeves here! The party was a chance to catch up on everyone's summer adventures. A few members arrived on Duck Key with colds, but a nice sunbath should help them recover.

The delicious chicken - plain, teriyaki, and barbecue - was cooked by the great staff of Centennial Bank on the Club's outside grill. The "best we have ever tasted" coleslaw was made by The Wreck and Galley Grill and Jan of Deep Drop Deli made a very delicious pasta salad. Deep Drop Deli is located at John and Sandy Riegor's Turnkey Marine on Duck Key and serves breakfast and lunch for people on the go - Jan is John's sister. Cuban Sandwiches were from the restaurant in Marathon El Siboney which also is in Key West.

The Club members would like to thank Fran Showerman, JoAnn Orr, and Chris Seidling (and their husbands) for organizing the party. The appetizers and desserts were made by Miss Geneva, Susan Shebel, Becky Townsend. And, thank you to Brenda and Doyle for their hard work in the kitchen!
